Royal Palm Elementary is a public school in the Miami-Dade County Public School System. With approximately 590 students, we have been consistently rated an A+ school by the Florida Department of Education. Our students learn in a loving, nurturing, and supportive environment. Our instructional staff is certified and professional as they make learning come alive for all of our students. We are demonstrated winners at educating children since 1956!
Most of our students demonstrate proficiency and show learning gains in English Language Arts, Mathematics, and Science on the statewide assessments. In 2012, the FCAT Writing Scores of our students were the highest in the state.
We are proud that we have teachers who are officers in teaching organizations, published authors, speakers at professional conferences, grant writers, adjunct professors at local universities, and award winners. Royal Palm’s teachers are often called upon to provide training for teachers from other schools.
At Royal Palm Elementary, we have an excellent team of special area teachers. Our students are given the time and energy to develop their talents in art, music, Spanish and physical education. They are given wonderful opportunities for success in our modern media center.
